Jame vs Joana: Which is the better Horde Leveling Guide?

As I've said before, I'm partial to Joana's Horde Leveling Guide for many reasons. Joana's guide goes through the beginning levels of each class including missions and class specific tips. I know a lot of veteran WoW players still rely on Jame's Horde Leveling Guide for information. Before I found Joana's guide, I used Jame's Horde Guide frequently. The fact that Jame's Horde Leveling Guide is divided into 4 different links did make going through it a little cumbersome. Jame's guide also starts at level 21 for the Horde. In other words, you have to find your way through the first 20 levels of WoW either on your own or using another guide. Since most people like to get things right the first time, myself included, this lead to some frustration. Having to hunt down another guide to get through the beginning levels and the Barrens was a pain.

Having said all that, I think Jame's Horde Leveling Guide is a good resource to use when starting out in World of Warcraft. It's got good information on the quests and which ones to accept. The big drawback is with the beginning levels. Say you've played a Troll to level 70 and now you want to try an Undead character. Do you want to good looking for an Undead Leveling Guide to get through the first 20 levels or so? It was looking for a similar guide that led me to Joana's Horde Leveling Guide. I was more than willing to have a resource at my fingertips that goes through the opening levels with each race. Instead of wasting time wondering if I should accept a quest or not, I could check Joana's guide (or print off a few pages at a time) and know exactly what I should be doing and where I should be going. I save A LOT of time in the early levels compared to my first character.

Granted, Joana's guide is a little more expensive that Jame's (it's free), but the time saved and the additional class based information included makes a worthwhile purchase. Everybody I know that has picked up the guide has been pleased with it and experienced a large increase in their WoW power leveling speed. Joana's guide is the best, most complete Horde Leveling Guide available. Any horde player looking to improve their WoW leveling speed should check it out.

To post a long comparison / review that compares a pay guide with a totally free guide is really pretty lame.
The things that you find "cumbersome" about Jame's guide, for example the fact it is broken into 10 level segments, I find very helpful.
You should add a disclaimer to the start of your fake review stating it is a blatant advertisement for a pay guide not a fair comparison at all.

I tend to agree with what the previous commenter said. Trying to compare a free guide to a pay-for guide is like comparing an independant film to a multi-million dollar film backed by a Hollywood production company. You're comparing apples and oranges.

Also, I'd like to point out that you didn't need to "search for a starter guide" or "search for a Barrens guide", because the original site that Jame's guide belongs to (WoW Pro) also hosts a myriad of other leveling guides (including starter guides for all the races, a Barrens guide, and Jame's Alliance leveling guide)... all of which are free.

Considering that you ONLY linked to Joana's guide and did not even include links to Jame's guide shows that this was not a true review -- it was a blantant advertisement and nothing more. If you were truly comparing the two guides you would've included links to both, so that others could make the same comparison, rather than only linking to the pay-for guide.
